Bethpage State Park Golf Course, Green is a municipal golf course located in Farmingdale, New York. The course originally opened in 1936, it features bentgrass greens and poa annua fairways. The course consists of four Par 3's, 11 Par 4's and three Par 5's and plays to a maximum distance of 6267 yards with a course rating of 73.3 and a slope of 125 over 18 holes. Three sets of men's tees create an enjoyable test of golf for players of all abilities.
Rental services are available including pull carts and golf clubs. The practice area at the facility includes a full service driving range and a seperate putting green. Food and beverage options include a full service restaurant and an on course snack bar. Banquet facilities are also available for hosting special occassions or events.

18 July 2010 | | The worst of all the Bethpage courses. First time playing it after they changed the 2nd hole. They reconfigured the bunker guarding the green by making it smaller and also changing the green to a flatter and more managable putting surface. Conditions on the fairway were good and the rough wasn't bad at all. The greens where very mixed and mostly in poor condition. If I had a choice of all the Bethpage courses the Green would be my last. Pace of play was good as we tee off before 7am. On the way back to the 18th we passed by the 2nd hole and there were 4 groups backed up. Don't want to play after 8am otherwise it'll be a 6 hour round for sure. | | ||||
